ngl have not recorded a full process in awhile but do have some WIP shots that like. kind of encapsulate it? anyways WIP snapshots for this piece below

and a bonus quick alear sketch from mid-rendering because my brain could not remember what side of alear's hair would be more prominent from that angle

#windy art #honestly i think my art got so much better when i figured out how to digitally paint #no more lineart woes! huzzah.#sometimes i miss lineart and the simplicity of it #but honestly? im a lot happier painting than I thought I would be #like my brain gels with it better and now frustration is mostly just vision not lining up rather than like. feeling unable to draw somethin #if that makes sense.#ANYWAYS my rambling aside just a bit of a glimpse at the art process my brain goes thru these days #and maybe soonish I'll make another fully rendered piece just for me kind of explaining how I paint because i feel like.#i rely more on opacity than a brush with blending built in and that feels weird #feels kind of wet on dry watercolor or gouache leaning ya feel
